Susan Jones – Writer

My Writing Blog

Susan Jones writes romantic drama with a touch of humour, and historical sagas as Lydia King. She lives in North Warwickshire, and loves walking through the beautiful woodlands where she lives, and gardening and reading are her pastimes.

While you’re enjoying your Easter eggs, have a look at the new edition of Words with Jam.  My article is on page 18.  There’s a swear word in there, so if you don’t like that kind of thing don’t look.  It’s all in the best possible taste though.

Have a look here.

Don’t leave your Easter eggs too long, else you might end up with this little lot.

Cute eh?

They’re going cheap…..

I know, lots of people ask for four candles, then go on about fork handles, we sell both, but that one was awful. What was she thinking???? Happy Easter.xx

Well done on getting into Words With Jam and by the way you look too sweet & innocent in your new photo to use swear words!

Yes, I do don’t I Sally. Never judge a book by it’s cover, as my Gran always said…Congratulations on your train story in the top list, well done.

Nice article. My mother-in-law had an interesting way with words. She had a friend who suffered from ‘pernickety anaemia’ for which she had been prescribed ‘wolverine’, and another friend who was ‘two-double’ with backache. But her ‘piece of resistance’ was surely her epithet for anyone annoying: ‘Eh, he’s a bugger up the back!’
