Ooh, they are really creepy photos, Susan – especially the one with the legs sticking out!
That’s an editor who didn’t like my story Wendy:)))
Oh, I like a Hallowe’en type story – left a comment!
Thanks Rosemary, I appreciate that very much:)))
The body behind the wheely bin – it’s like something out of Midsomer Murders!
We had a scare(crow) fest in a village nearby lately, Sally, so I took chance to take some great photo’s…
Intriguing start, Susan ~ can’t wait to read the rest! 🙂
That’s good to hear, Jacqueline. Hope you like it…..
I’ve read the story and I’m hooked now, Susan. I must go back and read your other Redington stories. I promise I’ll make time and do that soon.
Hi Keith, and glad you’re hooked. I hope you know what you’re letting yourself in for:))) It’s not a typical womag story at all. Redington is my fictional village in mid-Norfolk, with a mixture of lovely and some not so lovely people. Hope you enjoy the stories, and don’t say I didn’t warn you:00)
My dad came from mid Norfolk so I have a special interest in reading your tales.
That’s fabulous, he might even have passed through (Redington) then Keith. What’s his name, so I can include him in a story? The next one is going to be a time-slip one. Where a fairground comes to Redington, and two people will go on the waltzers, and when they step off, they’ll be in the 1950’s….
My family come from over there as well. Wouldn’t it be great if your ancestors and mine knew each other……
Super story Susan. I could do with a spell or two. Oh and I must remember to buy sweeties for the trick or treaters that will be banging on my door tomorrow evening.
Hi Nicola, great to see you here, on my blog, and me as well. Glad you’re liking the story, there are a few more parts to it yet.
Hi, Susan. Me again.
My dad’s name was Doug and he came from a village called Syderstone which is a few miles west of Fakenham. He had two brothers, Frank and Bobby. Uncle Bobby and his wife are still alive and used to live at Bircham Tofts until they moved to King’s Lynn a couple of years ago.
Spooks Alive!!! Your Dad was Doug??? He’s well and truly already in the story then, Keith. He also appeared in the first Redington story, ‘The Redington Millions.’ He was at a church meeting, and also giving tractor rides at the church fete. He was also in, ‘Murder at Brook House Farm’ where he sadly lost the love of his life, who he’d been seperated from for a while.
Kings Lynn featured in the windmill story. Marigold and Simone drove through there on their way to the windmill. Redington, as you’ve guessed is a stones throw away from Fakenham. And it could feature in a story soon. Now I’ll have to put Bobby and Frank in a story if that’s alright with you… Spooky and spookier…… Did you notice, I made Doug the best looking man in Norfolk:))) And he has three witches after him…
And, forgot to say, Doug is in the ‘Murder on the Market’ story as well. The open air market is on one of his fields.
Just read up to part 5 – can’t wait for the next instalment 🙂 x
Thanks for reading, Teresa, as it is a bit of a long story. And you might say a bit of a tall story as well:)) Sunday is the last day, so almost at the end. Glad you called in:)) xx
Just finished reading the last part. Great fun, Suzy!
