Hello, and welcome to my July blog post.
The garden is looking great and had some cucumber today on a cheese sandwich! So lovely and different from the shop bought ones. We’ve got lettuce, tomatoes, basil, spring onions, mint, parsley, thyme, lemon thyme, and peppers. Never eaten so many salads, but they’re really crispy and fresh.
I’ve been having a clear out, so trying to sell some England flags in the garden, along with some silk flowers. We’re in the final as I type, and hopefully we’ll WIN! Haven’t they given us some nail biting moments? I’m going to have to start and grow mine again now.
I’ve finished the saga… sent it to the lovely agent who asked for it, a few years ago, but time moves on, she liked the characters, setting and my fluent writing, but didn’t want to take it further after reading the whole lot. I take a lot from that, and will always remember her asking me to write a different style story to what I normally do. Now I have the task on of polishing it up, and sending out to agents who I think will like my story. I’ll keep updating here every month, and also get on with writing my next book.
