Me too Debbie, I prefer the Blandings to Jeeves and W.

Today’s ‘Telegraph’ is somewhat reserved in its praise – but that won’t put me off checking it out for myself.

I saw that as well Julia, I think the books are always best, and it’s come over as slightly silly, but that’s Wodehouse.

They’re lovely aren’t they Jacqueline. In Lloyd George’s place, Criccieth, North Wales.

I really enjoyed the books, but the TV trailer didn’t appeal to me.

They always seem to want to make it more silly don’t they Patsy. There’s me saying to everyone ‘this is brilliant’ and then they wonder why!!

    Looking forward to it!

I think it’ll grow on us Linda. I love the stories, but there’s much more detail and reality in the books. They’re apt to over caricature the people on t.v.

I’m afraid it doesn’t appeal. After Fry and Laurie, I can’t really imagine anyone else in the role.

They were Jeeves and Wooster Gail, great that you can comment on my blog by the way. Blandings is a different set of characters. A Brother and Sister and all their crazy friends and relatives.

I thought Blandings was Jeeves and Wooster too. Must concentrate harder in future!! Maybe I’ll give it a try.

The books usually read better than when they adapt to t.v. I think.
