We met up for a chat in the grounds of Kenilworth Castle. This was during the time I had first started getting pocket novels accepted by My Weekly.
I began writing from a young age, but got my first articles, letters and poems published from 1995 onwards, at the age of 35. Previously I had a set of children’s stories in an annual, wrote lots of short stories, and always scribbling diary notes and ideas for my future books.
My Weekly published Rich is a Feeling, one of my many poems. That gave me an opening to write for the magazine. An article on Portmeirion, North Wales was accepted soon after, and a short story, All about the Beige.
Articles in Take a Break, Bella Summer Special, Birdwatching, Best of British, The Great War, Strange but true magazine, followed.
Poetry is my passion, having published in Rubies in the Darkness, Acumen, My Weekly, Kindred Spirit, also a booklet of my poems is available on Amazon.
